2023 marks 6 years of marriage and 22 years of being together as a couple for Soulbound. Born from a love of music, Ilhammi and Melvallous started out as DJs in 2013. They hosted house parties of their own before being noticed by professionals in the nightlife industry. Since then, Soulbound has performed at a variety of nightclubs in Singapore. Despite having different interests in music genres when DJing, Ilham and Mel deliver a blend of music genres in their sets that ooze energy and get people grooving. Ilham enjoys R&B, hip-hop, melodic/progressive dance music while Mel enjoys big room, jungle terror, melbourne bounce, hard dance and everything else that will get you raving on the dance floor.

Outside of music, Ilham and Mel share a love for gaming that dates back to when they were kids. Mel started streaming on Twitch in 2017 before Ilham started a year later. Apart from creating gaming content on their individual Twitch channels DriftshadowSG and Melvallous, it is no surprise to see them appear in each other's content a lot considering their gaming setups are opposite one another. Their journey as content creators has led them to working with some of the hottest tech brands such as Logitech, ASUS, Shure and more. They are also official brand ambassadors of Nanoleaf Singapore and Omnidesk.

Ilham and Mel officially registered Ardent Collective as a company in 2020. With their entrepreneurial minds, Ardent has expanded from its roots of community management and content creation to now featuring its own online store carrying a variety of gaming peripherals.
